Hi, my name is Big John Newman. I'm divorced 50 year-old Australian male,currently in Sydney, Australia, but I live in Sihanoukville, Cambodia. I have 87 friends around the world.

I was born in Lae PNG to Australian parents and grew up in rural Australia. I am an ex advertising, magazine, print media graphic designer and art director who's been known to bakes pies. Until a few years ago I ran a restaurant, backpacker hostel and kitchens in Bangkok. I didn't have a lot of free time and find it hard to get away from the business. With the coup and following global economic downturn it was no longer viable. I have been doing freelance graphic design work and was waiting for a new project to get started in the processing and export of seafood, but that kept getting delayed, so I headed back to Sydney, worked with Haze Media as Sales & Account Manager - student diaries, supplying student diaries to schools, colleges, TAFE and universities. Cutting a long story short, I headed back in Southeast Asia and am now in Sihanoukville, Cambodia where I will open a Hostel & Restaurant.
I am divorced, have one beautiful, intelligent, loving and caring daughter, who was born on my 32nd birthday, lives with her Thai mother in Australia.
I have had a few other longer term relationships I had been in a relationship for over a year in Bangkok with a Thai, Christian University lecturer, Alisa (Sa, Pim, Oraphim) Khongwijit, who told me she was going to NZ, doing her PhD. at Auckland University in NZ. We kept communicating by telephone & email on an almost daily basis. She kept telling me she loved me and we would marry when she returned. I was shocked when I discovered she had married someone else, never went to NZ and had been continuing to lie and make up stories about illness to play on my true love and affection for her, to extract money from me.Yes, even after she had married someone else. Just because a girl has a university education or even works in one, don't think she can't display behaviour you'd expect to find in a bar girl. An added note: Since my original posts I have been contacted by other men to whom Alisa displayed similar behaviour, creating stories of illness and accident in an attempt to gain sympathy and money.
